There is a significant shift amongst our Health and Social Care IT customers to embrace the practical application of IHE profiles for unstructured health data sharing at regional and national levels, and to work with local suppliers like Nobly who can help to deliver their vision.
Since our foundation in 2011, Nobly has enabled customers across the Nordics to capture, integrate and share unstructured data between systems and between organisations. Our healthcare team specializes in consolidating disparate document sources into unified archives, ensuring that valuable content is available via primary clinical and administrative systems, including EMR, PACS, LIS, and ERP.
In Denmark, Finland and Norway, we are consulting with our existing customers to enable IHE-compliant regional search and share for all types of health and care documentation – clinical and administrative – sourced from individual archive systems within municipalities, hospital regions and wellbeing areas.
Nobly x Hyland: Strengthening Capabilities Through Strategic Partnerships
Nobly recently expanded our partnership with Hyland to incorporate the Acuo Enterprise Imaging platform, allowing us to provide IHE-compliant XDS/XCA services via the Nobly Cloud. This collaboration marks a crucial development in our strategy, responding directly to the evolving expectations for public-cloud-based healthcare SaaS solutions. The majority of our new customers now opt for services delivered through our Nobly Cloud Services, which are securely built on Azure.
Hyland’s global experience in serving some of the most complex healthcare systems in the US and Europe position them as a global leader in XDS-based interoperability. Their notable achievements at IHE Connectathons ensures that our joint solutions meet the highest standards for functionality and compliance.
Secure Cross-Community Data Sharing with Consent
The Acuo XDS Registry and Repository allows a community (affinity domain) of organisations within a region to store all types of unstructured data (documents, images, videos) in a single archive. Utilising a common set of IHE-compliant rules, all organisations within the same community could search for, share and view documents created and held by each other. This increases the availability of data, enabling better care decisions and improving administrative efficiency.
When multiple communities wish to collaborate, the Acuo XCA Gateway allows search and share of unstructured health data by implementing standard rules for communication between each affinity domain. By leveraging XUA for cross community user authentication, documents can be accessed securely by users outside the home domain, respecting local access rights established by patient consent.
